The Teeth Cleaning Procedure
First, we make you comfortable by numbing the treatment area with a topical gel or anesthetic. Then, we use special
instruments to clean and polish your teeth. Finally, we floss and remove any plaque buildup from hard-to-reach
spots. If you have a more complex case, we may recommend additional treatments like scaling and root planing. These
procedures help you maintain healthier teeth and gums over the long term. It’s recommended that patients get
professional teeth cleaning at least twice a year. Patients that suffer from gum disease may need more frequent
visits to help treat the condition and prevent it from worsening.
