Dental Exams and Cleanings
Regular dental exams and cleanings are essential for maintaining good oral health. The dentist will examine your
teeth, gums, and mouth for signs of decay, disease, or other issues during a dental exam. Dental cleaning involves
removing plaque and tartar buildup from the teeth and gum line to prevent cavities and gum disease.
Dental X-rays detect tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health issues that may not be visible during a visual
exam. They also help our dentist plan and carry out treatments, such as fillings, crowns, and root canals.
Root canals are performed to treat a tooth that has become infected or inflamed deep inside the tooth. During the
procedure, the dentist will remove the infected or damaged pulp from the tooth and replace it with a filling.
Tooth extractions are performed to remove damaged or decayed teeth that cannot be repaired with a filling or crown.
They are also performed to remove impacted wisdom teeth or to make room for orthodontic treatment.
